Wedding Festival of Love, Kananaskis Wedding – Jasmine & Pat

Okay, so I am going to break my rule and instead of my top 3 things that make a great Open Image Wedding I am going for a top 10!

1 – I wore cowboy boots to the wedding.

2 – Jasmine & her bridesmaids picked their own flowers for the ceremony.

3 –  Beautiful location – Owl Camp at the Bow Valley Campground.

4 –  I was able to celebrate the marriage of two great people and two amazing friends!

5 –  Great beer!

6 –  Bocci, crocquet & frisbee

7 –   Yummy Food 🙂  Naaco Food Truck, Fiasco Gelato and home made pie!

8 –  Lanterns…yes we may have gotten into a bit of trouble from the park ranger.

9 –   Awesome awesome band – Bitterweed Draw

10 –  Overall an Super Amazing Wedding Festival of Love! Nice work Jazz & Pat!

Congratulations Jasmine & Pat!

    Jen, these photos are phenomenal.

I love the uniqueness of your shots… especially the one where they are jumping in the air by the huge rock.

It was lovely to meet you Jen.

    Hello,

I found your Wedding festival of love photos while searching for pictures of the campsite (Owl) I had booked earlier today. I just need to say that the photos were wonderful and the scenery is beautiful. As I’m sure Jasmine and Pat are aware the booking system for these campgrounds is first come first serve, at least it is now. So this morning when I was getting ready to book the campsite for my wedding that I had had my eye on (Elk Flats just across the highway from Owl actually) the server froze and I refreshed the page to find my dates August 25-27 booked up. So I found Owl which was on my list of backups, low on the list I might add. So I’ve booked this campsite for the weekend before. So now, after coming to terms with a different site and different dates and crying a bucket of tears I was beginning to come to terms with it. But after seeing these wonderful photos and how happy everyone looked and how beautiful the mountains looked at dusk it has reassured me and made me feel 100% better about the whole situation. So whoever took these photos thank you I know they made the couple’s day but you also just made mine.ReplyCancel
